www.netregs.gov.uk This website provides clear guidance to small and medium-sized businesses, helping them stay informed and up-to-date with environmental legislation that affects their businesses.

www.ofwat.gov.uk The Office of Water Services is the economic regulator for the water and sewerage industry in England and Wales
www.parliament.uk The gateway web site to all UK Parliamentary activity including forthcoming business and the Hansard records of debates in both the House of Commons and the House of Lords plus contact details of MP's and Peers. The site also has links to Devolved Parliaments and Assemblies.
www.writetothem.com This website does exactly what it says it does. You can type in your postcode to find out who your MP is and then you can write a fax which will then be sent (via the website) to your MP. The service is free and the response rate from MPs is pretty impressive.

www.becarbonmonoxideaware.org COCAA stands for the Carbon Monoxide Consumer Awareness Alliance, and it is a group made up of organisations that all have an interest in ensuring the public is aware of the dangers of Carbon Monoxide poisoning and how to keep themselves safe.

www.hse.gov.uk The Health & Safety Executive's website holds a wealth of information governing health and safety practices, regulations and literature on subjects such as asbestos and lead. The website contains a number of leaflets and documents that can be downloaded for free.
www.ndsc.ie The National Disease Surveillance Centre is Irelands leading specialist centre for the surveillance of communicable diseases.

www.bre.co.uk The Building Research Establishment holds one of the worlds largest construction industry bookshops and also offers a wealth of information on a massive amount of subjects.
www.bsi-global.com The British Standards Institute holds information on all British Standards, also ISO's, OHSAS, Kitemark and CE marking. The site also has information on testing, assessment and certification and training.

www.ukwater.biz/ www.ukwater.biz is the internet based directory of the knowledge and skills of UK companies who supply goods and services to the water sector. An e-newsletter is available from the site for UK water and wastewater sector companies currently or wishing to engage in overseas trade. The newsletter is published by UK Trade & Investment, the Government organisation dedicated to help businesses export and grow overseas.
